Summer Wanes

  I recently spent a couple nights with an old friend at Buttercup campground on Lake Cascade. After 40 plus days with no measurable precipitation, 2 days of cloud cover and passing bands of moderate rain were a welcome sign of the waning summer days here in central Idaho.

Long May You Run

I came across this well seasoned motorcycle while wandering the side streets of Puerto Vallarta. The tires had air and the seat had a somewhat fresh tape job.  I suspect it still prowled the bruising cobblestone streets, and corrosive Pacific coast air of one of my favorite Mexican cities.
