Take a look at some of my favorite photos, from a recent trip to Silver Falls State Park, in beautiful Oregon, U.S.A. The fall colors were creeping in, and added a wonderful diversity of color, in this temperate rain forest. There are 10 waterfalls to observe, and they are a fine sight, many of which you can walk behind. The State campground at the park makes for a solid car-camp base, which you can hike to the trail easily from. The charming towns of Silverton, Oregon , and Mt. Angel are a short 30 minutes from the park.
