Leanne, at Leanne Cole PHOTOGRAPHY has a series she runs called “Monochrome Madness”, where she asks anyone to send her monochrome images of their choosing, falling within certain theme parameters she sets each edition. The current parameter is “Straight” (The last one was “Curves”).
I submitted the picture below for the current “Straight” edition. I captured it in September of 2015, at Mount Rainier National Park’s, Paradise Lodge, in Washington, U.S.A. I was halfway through a 90 mile 10 day hike around the Mountain, when we enjoyed a night off the trail at the historic lodge.
