On a recent trip to the capitol of the U.S.A., Washington D.C., I took a tour of the Library of Congress. I captured a series of images that show the dizzying array of colors, angles, and history that are housed in this incredible place.
This image below was a zoom shot of a high corner of the ceiling in the main hall. Aside from the sliver of sunlight, that was reflecting off of some marble far below, the imagery of two angels resting on the shield with a torch, and book caught my attention. “Angels of Knowledge” immediately came to mind
